International treasury issues at the AFP 2005 Global Treasurers Forum

The Global Corporate Treasurers Forum, May 11-13 2005 in San Francisco, will bring together over 150 of the worlds senior ranking treasurers and officials to explore best practices for managing an International Treasury.

As part of the event, Corporate Finance magazine has teamed up with the AFP to host a roundtable on the IFRS-effect on corporates. This session will be hosted by managing editor Will Goodhart and will feature senior international finance executives, a rating agency representative and a senior buyside analyst, all looking at the potential impact of IFRS and will consider how companies may choose to respond.

More than 25 influential leaders are scheduled to speak at the Forum to provide expert insight and advice on the opportunities and challenges of managing a treasury that operates globally. Rarely heard-from high-ranking officials will participate in a candid exchange on topics foremost in the minds of today's treasurers.
