Barclays Capital has appointed Christoph Cleve as a managing director and member of its board in Frankfurt, reporting to Rainer Stephan, chairman of the German board. Cleve joins a BarCap team that is expanding in an effort to increase its corporate finance coverage in the German market.
John Winter, head of European investment banking and debt capital markets, comments: "Christoph Cleve is a highly experienced individual with a strong credit and corporate finance background who brings with him extensive knowledge of the German market." Cleve joins from JP Morgan where he practised in the German markets and also boasts 17 years of experience at Deutsche Bank.
