HBOS Treasury Services is delighted to announce that Peter Macfarlane is joining its capital markets team as a director within the securitisation group. Peter will head up the group's project bonds and infrastructure securitisation efforts.
Peter was previously a director at Royal Bank of Canada, where he was responsible for marketing and executing PFI and project bond transactions. His appointment is part of HBOS's plan to enhance its capital markets capability which it views as an increasingly important part of its business.
Robert Plehn, head of securitisation at HBOS, says: "Peter is a major player in this area and will be a welcome addition to the team as we further build out our securitisation and structured finance capability."
