Calyon, the bank that declines to comment on staff moves, issued a press release this week saying it has a new head of global FX strategy in Asia. And because we’re all so easy going here at Euromoney, we’ll give them a plug. The bank has relocated Mitul Kotecha, head of global FX strategy and fixed income markets research, to Hong Kong from London. He will report locally to Frédéric Lainé, head of fixed income markets for Asia ex-Japan, and globally to Herve Goulletquer, head of fixed income markets research. Kotecha joined Calyon in 1999. Following his relocation, Daragh Maher has been appointed as deputy head of global FX Strategy, fixed income research. He will be based in London and report to Kotecha.
