Liquidity management debate: Participants

Tom O’Donnell (TD) is global head of sales for Barclays’ commercial cash management and trade finance business. He has more than 20 years’ experience in treasury management and regularly advises multinational, large corporate and financial institution clients on how to optimize working capital, manage counterparty risk, and maximize banking efficiency. He previously worked overseas for nearly 10 years managing sales teams across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

John Gleason (JG) is Dell’s EMEA regional treasurer. Over the past 10 years at Dell, he has worked within several treasury disciplines, including cash, investments, securitization and working capital financing.

Jack Large (JL) is a freelance analyst and consultant.

Phillip Lindow (PL) is head of global treasury and investment management in the global transaction services division of RBS. He directs product management, strategy and solutions development in liquidity management, transactional FX/netting, and investment advisory services for the bank’s clients. He is also head of international cash management for the Americas region.

Brendan Reilly (BR) is responsible for country product management for Deutsche Bank’s cash management products in the UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Among other things, the product role is charged with developing and managing robust, innovative products for financial institutions and corporates.

Paul Stheeman (PS) is director, international treasury, of Petro-Canada. He has led the international treasury team since 2002, based in Germany until a year ago, when he moved to the UK. He previously worked in the treasury groups of oil companies in Germany and Norway having worked for several years at Commerzbank before joining the oil and gas business.
