Crawford will begin his contract in January and will be based in London reporting to Hui-Sun Kim, head of fixed income and currencies trading. Crawford joins Commerzbank after leaving Unicredit in September where he held the position of global head of FX since June 2009. Before Unicredit, Crawford was global co-head of FX trading at Merrill Lynch based in New York between 2004 and 2006.
Commerzbank placed 15th in this year’s Euromoney FX survey with an overall market share of 1.27%.
