? The August 2003 edition of Euromoney contained a table ranking banks in Emerging markets by shareholders equity (‘A world of difference’, p.78-81).
The figures given for OCBC and United Overseas Bank were the wrong way round. United Overseas Bank should have ranked seventh by shareholders equity, OCBC ranked ninth.
The correct ranking and full figures for both banks are shown below.
