Debt market round up: Kamlani promoted at UBS

UBS has made its global head of debt capital markets, Suneel Kamlani, chief of staff of the investment bank.

Kamlani, a 20-year UBS veteran, takes over from Mike Bolin and is responsible for overseeing the strategic development of the bank, working with Huw Jenkins, chairman and CEO of UBS Investment Bank, to whom he reports.

UBS has split Kamlani’s global role between Roberto Isolani and Ramesh Singh. Isolani returns from Italy, where he was co-head of Italian investment banking, to take over DCM for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Singh will look after DCM in the Americas in addition to his role as global head of securitized products.
