Bigger portions of Islamic finance were to follow in restructurings after that of Kuwait’s Global Investment House (GIH). The multi-billion-dollar restructuring of Kuwait’s The Investment Dar (TID) is one example. Unlike GIH, TID is a wholly Islamic institution.
