In 15 years, Jiang Jianqing has taken ICBC from technical bankruptcy to the world’s most profitable bank. What's more, between 2000 and 2014, ICBC’s net profit increased from $640 million to $44.5 billion while the lender’s total assets grew from $482.9 billion to $3.3 trillion. For his success in expanding ICBC domestically and internationally, Jiang Jianqing wins Euromoney's 2015 award for outstanding contribution to global financial services.
