Vicente Fox |
It's not the easiest of times for Mexican president Vicente Fox, whose country is suffering from the double whammy of a falling oil price and the knock-on effects of the US recession. But even if the stresses of his job are keeping him awake at night, they haven't done anything to dull his good looks.
As part of its annual "sexiest man alive" issue, People magazine has awarded Fox the title of "sexiest world leader". Fox, at 59, is the oldest world leader on the list of 21 men in all.
Gushing over Fox's "matinee-idol moustache", People declares that he has "made politics a lot more interesting for several million señoritas".
Sadly, People says it has no plans to institute a sexiest central bank governor award next year.
