Korean corporate bond issuance hits year high

South Korea's corporate bond issues are expected to reach a 12-month high in Febraury, thanks to waning corporate credit risks, sources said Wednesday.

The Financial Supervisory Service and Korea Bond Pricing & KR Co. estimated that February's corporate bond issues, excluding asset-backed securities, will reach 2.14 trillion won ($1.8 billion), 5.6 times the 380 billion won total in January.
