David Spivak, one of the founding members of Canadian oil field services company Drillers Technology, has resigned as CFO.
In a statement the company thanks Mr Spivak for his service and says he has been instrumental in Drillers Technology's success to date. It also says it is in the process of actively seeking a replacement.
Drillers Technology operates five drilling rigs in Canada and one in Alaska. In a joint venture with Dowell Schlumberger, the company also operates eight drilling rigs in Mexico. In November the company, which operates under the name Drillers Technology de Mexico, announced it had been awarded a contract to drill a 265 well programme in Mexico's Burgos basin.
Drillers Technology generates 50% of its revenue from Mexico and 50% from Canada and the US.
