Three further banks have recently joined IBOS as associate members to offer services in their respective countries and to bring the IBOS service to their clients.
They are:
CSOB a.s. (Ceskoslovenska Obchodni Banka) in the Slovak Republic, under the sponsorship of its majority owner KBC Bank N.V., a full member of IBOS;
Kredyt Bank S.A. in Poland, also under the sponsorship of KBC Bank N.V.; and
Banka Koper D.D. in Slovenia, under the sponsorship of its majority owner Sanpaolo IMI S.p.A., a full member of IBOS
CSOB ranks as number four amongst indigenous banks, has 75+ branches in the Slovak Republic and offers full-service banking to all market segments from international companies to private customers.
Kredyt Bank ranks as Poland's sixth bank, has 351 branches spread nationwide, and again offers a full-service banking to all market segments.
Banka Koper ranks as Slovenia's sixth bank, has 39 branches spread throughout Slovenia, with headquarters in Koper, And offers all banking and other financial services to the market.
As well as being fully capable in the area of servicing the local needs of IBOS clients, all three banks can already participate in cross-border IBOS services within IBOS.
