Jeremy Armitage
Jeremy Armitage is managing director and head of research at State Street Global Markets, the investment research and trading arm of State Street. During his 12-year career at State Street in London and Boston he has worked with clients across the globe to provide solutions to complex investment problems.
Harriett Baldwin
Harriett Baldwin managing director, JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management, is head of the firm's currency group and chairs the currency investment policy committee (CIPC). Shortly after the formation of the currency group in 1995, Harriett was appointed co-head of the group and in 1998 assumed her current responsibilities.
Nicolas Boitout
Nicolas Boitout is a global fixed-income manager at Crédit Agricole Asset Management in the firm's London Branch and is the currency specialist of the team. He is in charge of the team's quantitative foreign exchange trading and is responsible for the firm's currency funds. He holds a PhD in economics.
Monica Fan
Monica Fan is the global head of currency strategy and a managing director at RBC Capital Markets. She is based in London and manages a team of strategists in London, New York, Toronto and Sydney. Before taking up this position, Monica was a principal G10 interest-rate and currency strategist at the Bank of America in London.
Henri Foch
Henri Foch has been in charge of global foreign exchange trading at BNP Paribas since 2000. He covers spot trading, options, emerging markets and FX research. Prior to this, he had trading and sales experience with Chase Manhattan and Bank of America.
Bob Jolly
Bob Jolly is head of portfolio construction at Gartmore with responsibility for all fixed-income and currency strategies. He has a detailed understanding of risk modelling and is portfolio construction manager of the AlphaGen Currency Fund. Bob is a member of the Securities Institute and a CFA Charterholder.
Andrew Kellner
Andrew Kellner is global head of FX & commodities at Calyon, with global responsibility for spot FX, FX options, commodities and quantitative research. Previously he was responsible for the newly formed GFR non-linear group which covered FX options, interest-rate options, exotic interest-rate products and structuring.
Dr Robert C.J. Meijer
Dr Robert C.J. Meijer served as the treasurer of the Shell Pension Fund of the Netherlands from 1991 until 2001 and was responsible for Shell's multi-billion euro currency overlay programme. He is now an independent currency overlay consultant to banks, insurance companies and pension funds.
Peter Nielsen
Peter Nielsen is global head of FX, currency options, emerging markets, equities and futures for Royal Bank of Scotland and has been since 2001. Previously he served as global head of sales and marketing for NatWest and subsequently for RBS. He has also served as head of trading and sales for NatWest in North America.
Michael J. A. Shilling
Michael J. A. Shilling is CEO of overlay specialists Pareto Partners. Previously, as director of portfolio services, he took responsibility for client service and day-to-day delivery of all Pareto's products. Prior to joining Pareto, Mike advised clients on treasury and risk management issues, and devised and implemented currency overlay programmes for international investors and corporations.
