Dutch food group Friesland Foods has appointed Andre Boudewijns as chief financial officer of Royal Friesland Foods. He will take up his position on May 1. In this position, Andre Boudewijns will be responsible for the corporate departments finance & accounting, treasury, and information & communication technology.
André Boudewijns was chief financial officer and later executive vice president and chief operating officer of Business Unit Europe at the confectionery group Perfetti Van Melle in Breda.
Since 1985, he has held various finance positions at Van Melle, including several years as chief financial officer. Prior to that, he worked at Arthur Andersen & Co Nederland.
Cardinal Health has hired a new chief financial officer to replace an executive who left the company last summer amid an investigation over how the company classifies revenue from its pharmaceutical distribution business.
