State-owned oil company Petroleos de Venezuela (Pdvsa) has signed a deal with China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) to supply 160,000 barrels per day (bpd) of heavy crude and fuel oil as Venezuela seeks to boost energy exports to the growing Asian market, officials said. Pdvsa said it signed a one-year contract with state-controlled CNPC to supply 100,000 bpd of different heavy crude oils, including Maralago, Cerro Negro, Boscan, Merey 16 and BCF 17 grades, as published by VHeadline news website.
