David Blain is joining UK operations management provider eg Solutions as financial director. His previous role was financial director and company secretary of Drew Scientific Group where he spent 11 years. Blain trained as a chartered accountant at Hartlepool firm WT Walton and Son, before becoming an audit senior manager at PwC, where he worked from 1984 until 1993.
Paul Farmer, meanwhile, has resigned from US imaging technology company IPIX Corporation because he does not want to relocate to the company's new corporate office in Vienna, Washington D.C. Company controller Kara Brand will serve as interim CFO until a replacement is found.
And finally, in a reversal of career trajectory norms, Pamela Boone, CFO of Maverick Tube Corporation, is to become treasurer. The move is part of a wider restructuring of the finance department at the US tubular products manufacturer, which also sees Kevin Schnurbusch move from corporate controller to chief accounting officer.
