LA market round-up: IADB forgives debt

The Inter–American Development Bank has agreed to forgive about $3.5 billion of debt owed by Bolivia, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras and Nicaragua.

Governors of the IDB finalized the deal on November 17. This offer is in addition to recent initiatives at the World Bank and IMF that have provided these countries with another $14 billion in debt relief.
