Summer cum laude
It’s becoming increasingly tough to get a summer internship with a top investment bank, if a posting on US classified advertisements website craigslist is anything to go by.
The ad, subsequently removed by “craigslist community”, was from a female Ivy League student and part-time model so desperate to win a summer internship with “Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, etc” that she offered her “companionship” to any man able to grant her a place. Tired of having no work during summer breaks, she is willing to “exchange companionship to events, parties and nude massages” for the internship. “I am completely and utterly open to anything else that does not involve intercourse,” she continued. “In responding, please be serious. I do not wish to waste my time nor yours.”
Investment bankers will no doubt be suspicious of any bosses now employing female interns who fit her credentials.
Anyone who knows the identity of this individual should get in touch with us as she sounds like the ideal candidate as a grad trainee journalist on Euromoney magazine.
