UBS has appointed Tom Fox and Matthew Koder as joint global heads of equity capital markets, replacing Lucinda Riches, who has headed the division for the past seven years.
Fox, based in New York, joined UBS in 2003 and has been joint head of US equity capital markets for the past three years, during which time UBS has achieved a substantial increase in its US market share.
Koder, based in Hong Kong, also joined the firm in 2003 and to date has been head of equity capital markets in Asia.
Riches, who has been at UBS’s equity capital markets business for the past 18 years, has decided to step down from her role as global head. She will become chairman of the business for an interim period.
