Zelikow was previously managing director of the government institutions group at JPMorgan. In his new position Zelikow will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Washington multilateral. Before joining JPMorgan in 1999 Zelikow held several positions in the US Treasury, including deputy assistant secretary responsible for financial policy towards countries in the Americas, Asia and Africa. At the IADB, he replaces Ciro de Falco, who is retiring after 19 years of service.
