BofA creates property derivatives role

Bank of America has hired Paul Ogden to the newly created role of head of market development for property derivatives. London-based Ogden reports to Markus Wolfensberger, managing director in structured securities. He joins from CB Richard Ellis /GFI Group, where he headed property derivatives development.

GFI Group, the derivatives and securities broker, teamed up with CB Richard Ellis in July 2005 to develop a derivatives market based on commercial property in Europe. Ogden was part of that effort. His replacement at CB Richard Ellis/GFI had not been named by the time Liquid Real Estate went to press.
