Jerome Cohen has joined Standard Chartered after a 13-year stretch at ABN Amro. In his new role, Cohen will look after Standard Chartered’s complex FX risk team based in Singapore. He will report directly to Richard Leighton, the bank’s global head of FX.
"This is a significant hire for Standard Chartered as we look to expand our product range to our clients and consolidate our position as a top tier global FX Option player," says Leighton. "Jerome is a proven professional who brings a wealth of experience to the bank – he built ABN’s exotic options business and will be focused on expanding our footprint in new products, correlation risk and long-dated FX options in G10 and emerging market currencies."
