Several readers called me to tip me off that various platforms experienced glitches this week as a result of a network upgrade made by BT Radianz. At the time of writing BT Radianz hadn’t managed to get back to me. I hear that the platforms’ clients had problems logging on. As ever, the story has spiralled and there is talk of one customer of a top-five bank, which I won’t name, having problems dealing the currency pair of his choice. “EUR/USD error occurred – Please try HKD/USD”, I’m told he was informed.
