Wilson Lee, former managing director and head of real estate finance, EMEA and Asia Pacific, at UBS, has landed at ING Real Estate. Lee started at UBS in 2005 to establish a commercial mortgage-backed securities business and departed last year shortly after Don Belanger joined from Credit Suisse.
Lee, who will be based in London, is charged with growing ING Real Estate’s global opportunistic investment platform as European managing director and portfolio manager.
In a statement, David Gilbert, managing director of ING Real Estate's global opportunistic investment platform, commented: “The breadth and depth of experience that Wilson brings to our European business allows us to continue to expand our leadership position in the investment management business. We are thrilled that he has joined our team.”
